JOOF Recordings has been running for an astonishing 26 years, during which we've supported and nurtured many new and existing artists. We've never deviated from our original ethos of focusing on the more specialized scene, constantly evolving and innovating without fear of straying from the norm. We have no interest in becoming a mainstream label.

Our motivation comes from discovering new artists and music, as well as collaborating with them to set musical experiments in line with our vision. We maintain traditional values by being hands-on with each release, ensuring that mixdowns, mastering, and final tweaks are correct before any track is released to give you the best product.

We've always embraced technology; JOOF Recordings was one of the first labels to embrace digital downloads and streaming when others were hesitant. The past couple of years have been challenging in terms of internal office duties due to previous distribution restrictions. However, we're pleased to announce that we've just moved distribution, allowing us to fully embrace the digital tools our team needs.

Evolving also involves having a team with the same ethos. Daniel Lesden has been a stalwart of the JOOF camp for nine years and is a true driving force both musically and technically. Alongside Daniel, we're pleased to announce Kirill Smirnov, whose track record and expertise are already well proven with his own label, Forescape Digital. Let's not forget Selma and the Belgium team, Marnik and Katja, who have been true family members for over 20 years.

Expect some very exciting new music, signings as we take our next step into the music future.
