PREPARATION is key.

Locked in my zone in my laptop organising new music for the next couple weeks of gigs ahead. Preparation is the key to success, getting to know each track structure, dynamics, energy vibes etc so that I know exactly what musical tool to reach for and when.

Even after all these years playing out, its important for me to practice and spend at least 5 hours a week playing on my decks at home, keeps me sharp thinking, improves brain and memory muscle so that everything happens on autopilot and I can deal with any situation/scenario thrown at me.

Since day one I’ve taken this job seriously and professionally, importantly I know everyone that comes to see me has spent their wages on perpetration, clothes, transport, tickets, hotels and flights etc, so its important for me to perform my very best for you.
